it's my last post for 2009! or dramatically even, the last post of my old mundane life before i inch forward to a new chapter! (i hope the seniors are right about college being interesting, they better be.)

JY thinks that james cameron has a special liking for names with the inital J. the main actor for titanic was "JACK" and now avatar it's "JAKE" so next it'll be "JUNYING"? NU-UH!

above all, i think 2009 offered some pretty amazing movies. i rarely have any "favourite" movie but this year itself i have two! 2012 and avatar :)
2009 too is when i bid farewell to great friends i've known for four/five years.
2009 is when i officially break free from school rules and pinafores. stupid hair ribbons no more. (i reallyyyyyyy loath that rule, no offence however)
2009 is the ultimate transition as said before.
2009 is the year i have skipped school most, not that i'm very proud of the record. sheng rei and sheng juen, dont kill me.
2009 is when i finally see the light within pn juliana's teaching and i think she's got great taste in fashion. well she has always been the best dressed teacher but it's only this year that i came to realise it better. HAHA.
2009 is the utmost stressful year of all but undoubtedly the best of memories.
2009 is when i finally decided what i want to do in life or with my life.
2009 is when i got a bronze medal during volleyball tournament too! oh how i'll miss the sport! those tsun jin girls! T__T
2009 is also when AFZAN AND I kickassed during the RCG tournament. WE'RE GOLD MEDALLISTS, don't play play.
2009 is not cooke's year, but certainly am proud to be the AJK BOARD with a BEST BOARD AWARD. :)
2009 is not the year for me to boast about my KOKO achievements. disappointments surely did arise but i accepted fate as it is.
2009 is also the year people start calling me fat. but my weight remained constant leh.

i can't say it's a ROCKING year for sure, but it is indeed a notable one. SPM year mah, who'd ever forget those excruciating weeks of examination. 2009, you will be missed.

i'll make my new year's resolutions tomorrow. it'll be the usual; lose weight, straight A+, to be a JPA scholar, stocking wardrobe, bla bla bla, you know. i'll try to come up with matured and realistic goals. not resolutions that i've been making for years and never executed. (ESPECIALLY TO LOSE WEIGHT)

i think for the new year, low cut jeans shouldnt be in guy's fashion list.

he was bending forward to unveil his undie the colour of vomit, not that it has BOSS or CALVIN KLEIN proudly stitched anyway. the mortifying view was merely centimetres away from my eyes as i sat facing it. (i had no choice) MY GOODNESS, how could someone, especially A GUY, wear jeans by belting it at the largest diameter of their backside so despicably until the part of jeans made to cover the guy's bottom actually draped over the thighs? why must guys wear pants like that? what is there to SHOW? your backside is where you defaecate!

to stand by my point further, i dont wear low cut jeans too, if i could help it. (OKAY FINE, BECAUSE OF THE FATS BUT STILL) and i'd appreciate it if guys cover their bottoms decently. even taylor lautner had his pants on in new moon, right? and he still has fangirls like me squealing over him, right right? :D


well...... you can still wear your low cut jeans, boys, it's okay. just dont let me catch any calvin klein or boss.

jy's so obsessed with the movie 'secret' that everything he wants to say he'll add a "i'm gonna tell you a secret now..." ANNOYING!
my third time watching it and i still love the twisted plot very much :D


i think local music is not bad. try bunkface's through my window or prom queen. they're not like any other wannabee bands cause even my mom couldnt tell they were actually malaysian singers when she first heard prom queen on radio. i first thought it was a song by greenday......... hats off to bunkface!

it was a memorable one and will forever be etched in my mind since my sister fell sick after the tongyuen festival (tongyuen intolerance/poisoning we suspect) and still on bed listless at the moment. therefore pangkor plan had to be cancelled because my sister will never survive the car trip. it's been four days, santa, havent you heard her wish yet? grant the poor rascal full recovery!


i tried to instil the christmas aura within my family. after humming some christmas carols and hinting for christmas gifts, it worked! though we're not christians but i earnestly believe that ANYONE can celebrate christmas! it's a universal festival!



sunway piramid's magnificently adorned with bright ornaments! but i somehow have to agree that christmas in KL only exists in shopping malls, no? i didnt even have turkey meat with cranberry sauce; steph, what happened to your annual christmas party!

so my sis was as sick as a i dunno what, but she insisted of going out. and my dad had to piggyback her (weighs like 25kg now) as we walked around sunway piramid. grandparents arrived from muar too (it just happened to coincide with christmas!) and joined us. sunway piramid has some great stuff at VERY reasonable prices but i didnt get to buy much since... the situation just wasnt 'right'.

it's okay, CNY's comingggggggggggggg and im so looking forward to it! :D

here's the sick kiddo.

we placed a plastic bag at the seat's handle to prepare for any purging. the last time it happened, my entire leg which was strategically placed smelled of infant's vomit. as a concerned sister (about her own leg haha), it was my duty to role play the possibility of such occurrence again. technically i showed her how to vomit at the right place lah.

had this exquisite teochew porridge for supper! the taste was as good as its price haha! nevermind, christmas dinner, right? LOL i'm sorry if i'm overrating christmas by labelling it to everything. after all lore has it that christmas is not all about santa claus, reindeers and kissing under a mistletoe, right laine? O.O that pretty much sums up my i-am-giving-up-because-is-it-even-possible mindset to secure the scholarship.

the trip to kelantan was really an eye-opener for me. i almost went to thailand! settled for a massive shopping at the BORDER of thailand though, since i didnt have my passport with me T____T

they have the best buddhist temple there too! i think it's on par with penang's kek lok si, no kidding. the irony, huh? a giant sleeping buddha is located there as well which made it into the world's record of the longest sleeping buddha! O.O also learnt that monks' body DO NOT DECOMPOSE once they..... meninggal dunia. witnessed one for myself, he meninggal dunia-ed meditating.
