reflection.

how should i begin? hum dee dum..

it's been a special year! hell yes! when in a lifetime you could ever get another 08/08/08? ANOTHER 1000 YEARS! grateful to be borned in the right century to experience that auspicious date, though nothing really memorable happened but heckkk.

moreover it's a LEAP YEAR and JIA WEI's finally 4 years old! -throws confetti- if i were to born on the feb 29th, i'll insist to celebrate every year, perhaps between feb 28th and march 1st. hahaha.

well even with the addition of 24 hours, the year slipped away fast before anyone could notice. when you finally decide to wake up today, you realize: IT'S THE LAST DAYYYY OF 2008! THE EARTH'S FINALLY COMPLETED IT'S PEREDARAN BUMI YAY!

SO WHAT HAVE I ACHIEVED? i did not win a nobel prize, nor saved a kid in a fire.. okay feeling like a loser now. weee~ sixteen and good for nothing.

oh i have to give some credit to myself too, i survived throughout the long distance relationship. it's tough to put on a strong happy face but we embraced almost everything together. i suppose, love not knows its depth till the moment of separation. it was never a smooth sailing, but he was there to fight away the storm and kept the ship sailing. without him, i'll never made it this far. *ceh like some thank you speech after winning a nobel prize! i love you, jy.

waved goodbye to nik and a few others who got accepted to MRSM this year. we lost a great friend and supposedly sbu's head prefect too! the year rocked off badly as aja has chosen to be in sub science, anyhow anyhow life goes on but it doesnt mean i dont bring part of you with me. we're all still best buds right! XD

went for loads of camps this year all due to my recent kiasu hobby - collecting certs! whenever there's an announcement on competitions or participations in talks we'll all turn to look at each other with a silent nod of agreement. HAHAHA! so there's

- renjer campboree which sucked because they scolded us like mad dogs everyday but the food was great! we also realized we werent even certified renjers, didnt have the right equipments to be a declared puteri too. sad camp i tell you.
- ubs's kursus asas as fasci, stayed in this triangular house, conducted modules with vi jean (nice pairing with you girl!) and had loads of fun.
- ubs's trip to tanjung puteri, best place for relaxation and got sick of bowling there that instant.
- RCG in VI, messed their field with flour and witnessed HUGE VI GUYS (really unlike sbu's bony macho fakers) going frantic, beat FORM SIX VI girls in tarik tali FUIYOH! so going there again next year. =D
- RIMUP in SBS, promoted this indian delicacy - payasam, and mysteriously gotten second place for the 'competition' which i didnt know was one in the first place.
- cheated our way to second place in the AMAZING RACE organized by the librarians HAHAHAHAHA. didnt exactly cheat, it was the librarians' mistake okay. -seals lips-
- proved that food like tomatoes, sambal, tea bla bla bla can generate electricity during chemistry exhibition. about to cheat and put batteries into the cucumber when the LED wouldnt light up during the experiments in class HAHAHA. but during the exhibition, the stupid cucumber + milk (say ewww) turned their backs on us, while the ORIGINAL experiment worked. god loved us. (i didnt know the existence of voltaic cell at that point so it was very very impressive!)
- attended the interboard gathering at VI, freaked out by their superblyy semangated 'hakka dance'.
- visited HELP and SUNWAY university college, went there for certs lalalaa~ shuttup you non-kiasu.
- will type more when i remember.

did not attend sports day and merentas desa this year. call me a traitor but cooke got SECOND LAST wehhh.. so embarrassing larrrhh~ julian yee, make sure you make us champion next year or my vote will go to waste. heehee, i just want the AJK PAPAN KENYATAAN okay fellow cookians? :D

i missed cheer 2008. then they got champion. bloody.

OH OH OH the most significant event of the year (for me larh) THAT THAT BBGS SBU ALUMNI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! tops my list of priority cause i was the vice chairmaine of the ajk kerja. the event was hellaaa boring larh, but it went pretty well. yipeee, we've proved ourselves, right kim? hey, pinafores can do what the blue monsters can too okay.

speaking about blue monsters, some (even my own friends hehehe) ticked me off this year especially during assembly. afzan kim and i hold a grudge against you people, THERE WE ADMIT. they really got on my nerves when we're such good students with PERFECT general appearances but just the lack of control on our mouth. nobody's perfect hmph. so the nightmares begun when five of the top 6 aka toxic originated from......ALPHA.

had a few outings this year, mostly to pavillion then to redbox. LET ME COUNT. i think i've been there at redbox for 5 times now. my birthday outing was bullshitly planned and almost everyone sacrificed this and that to come, so thank you so much peeps. next year will be a blast okay. =D

craved cupcakes like never before this year, thanks to aja azman and her great talent in baking. gave out cupcakes too during my birthday i hope everyone liked it =D

now family. no kes lari rumah, or kes ibu bapa mendera anak this year. so we're pretty bahagia haha. some financial problems here and there due to the drowning economy so we learnt to save as much as we could. hopefully next year will be better, or let my dad hit 20 million in toto.. then no more complains. =)

and the landslide recently, everything's settled but it'll never be the same here again. the new road out is eerie and it's like a crime scene here. bkt antarabangsa lost its status where the rich and famous (just tumpang nama) reside.

politically, drama drama drama. shall not touch bout that but it had seriously affected everyone in Malaysia greatly. what's with the economy crisis, petrol hike, melamine, bla bla bla.. let the adults worry for now, our time will come soon. eh, touchwood. oh and BARRACK OBAMA, you definitely rocked the world.

and and lee chong wei's our hero. he so deserves datukship. YEAH THE OLYMPICS! not that i watched MUCH larh without astro, but at least i know china won overall. i still like ai fukuhara. -winks-

bout academics, not about to gloat or what but i've achieved one of the resolutions i made for this year. =) will be renewing them tomorrow. it's odd how tomorrow's next year. i feel goosebumps.

here's a confession. my result slip says i've been absent for 17 days from school. 17 freaking days alternately. i didnt even know i'd ponteng that much! for a good cause okay. they should really allow study leaves next year.. y'know, it's pointless studying in school where friends gather.

i gained weight this year and almost hitting the digit '5'..........

that's about it, i'm trying to think of ways to endure the day MEANINGFULLY but nothing i'm doing now is meaningful. =S but let's toast to the end of 2008, we're growing older but nonetheless, better. (supposedly)
